I know it has been a long time since you've heard from me and I'm so very sorry but so much has been going on. To start off I have recently moved into a new place and let me just say it was one of the most draining moves I have ever made. Now that I'm here I love my new place and the space that we have to just...LIVE. Anyway, spring is in the air and pearls need to be a part of your spring wardrobe.

What's your favorite spring outfit? Now add pearls to that outfit. I'll wait. Did't it just become even more lovely? I know, it's amazing how that happens. When you get a chance make sure you take a stop by the etsy shop. I see there is something going on with the etsy shop updating on the website but I'm working on correcting it now.

Love is in the Air!

Hello Lovelies,

I hope you are enjoying this brisk and clear weather we're having today. January is almost at its end and February, the month of love is right around the corner! I wanted to share a couple of things with you so lets get started.

Firstly, I know the month is more than half way through but I wanted to take a moment to tell you about January's birthstone: Garnet.

This lovely red gemstone is associated with strength, propersity, and wealth and is given on the 2nd and 6th anniversary. February is one of my favorite months, not just because of Valentine's Day but also because February has one of my favorite gemstones, the Amethyst.

Glorious in its various shades of purple, the Amethyst is truly a lovely gemstone with a royal history as an insignia of power. This gemstone was found in many crown jewels throughout time and was referred to as "the stone of bishops." The Amethyst was also said to be an antidote for drunkeness and so wine goblets were often craved from it. The Greek word "amethystos" translates to "not drunken" and I wonder how much truth is in that. Anyone own an Amethyst wine goblet?? Anywho, look for this birthstone necklace to pop up in the shop soon.

With Valentines' Day slowing coming upon us I wonder how man of our guys have been wise enough to shop early and not wait til the last minute. Maybe he's stumped on what to get for the love of his life. Give the guy a break and leave him some hints. Fall is Here

Hello Lovelies.

I hope everyone has been enjoying life as summer has come to an end and Fall is finally here. A lot has been going on lately and I'm so sorry I've neglected the blog but I'm trying my best to whip into shape. So updates first....

Last month P.S. You're Lovely co-hosted an event called Paper & Pearls with Karee of Koby and Kylie Co., a lovely stationery company. The event was a hit and from it came an amazing development. HOUSTON Modern Luxury Magazine reached out and asked to do an article on me and some fellow young jewelry designers! At first, I thought is was going to be a small write up until I was asked to come in a do a photo shoot! Excited much?!?! Anyway the article will come out in November so it's almost here. You know I'll post something as soon as it comes out. Keep an eye out for me.

In other news... www.PSYoureLovely.com is now officially up and running. I wanted to make sure there was a wonderful site up in time for the publishing of the article and I'm happy with the final product...for now at least. I know my "photobug" and the simple ability to be able to change things I need to might mean the site always looks a little different but if that keeps you coming back to check it out then I think my plan is already working.

Lastly, I've got some great stocking-stuffers to take about because we all night December will be here before you know it. Allow me to introduce the Birthstone Necklaces; a simple collection of 16 inch necklaces adorned with 3 birthstone equivalent Swarovski Crystals at the center of each necklace. Something Blue

Hello My Lovelies,

I've been busy working on a large order for a wedding party and today is finally the day. The bride is my sorority sister and I created a necklace, bracelet and earrings for her and stunning earrings for her 10 lovely bridesmaids.

Pearls, Cobalt Blue Swarovski Crystals, and Crystal Swarovski Crystals for the Bride's collection.
Rhinestones and pearls for the bridesmaids. Look pretty good together, if I do say so myself!

 It was truly an honor to be asked to create this for her. She is a darling sister and friend and I wish her and her husband many years of happiness!

Rocking Hello Lucky for Great Day Houston!

Thursday, Great Day Houston spoke with Ahshia Berry of Events and Lagniappe about the Sustainable Fashions that would be presented on Saturday. Prior to the show they needed an additional model for the show and I ended up stepping in as the model for Hello Lucky.

What a Year It Has Been

Hello Lovelies,

I can't believe it has been a year since I began this wonderful journey. Something that started as a craft I shared with my mother has become my passion and my business. In my first year P.S. You're Lovely has grown so much. Two Trunk Shows, two boutiques carry my line, and more support than I could ever imagine.

What I want to tell each and every one of you is to follow every dream you have. I've never wanted to live life with "what if's" and you shouldn't either so promise me you'll live life like there is no tomorrow! Reach for the stars AND laugh every chance you get!

P.S. You're Lovely has a special meaning to me and its my daily reminder that I share with you. No matter what life throws your way there will never be another You. You are perfect..."flaws and all" and more lovely than you'll ever know.

Recharging

Hello My Lovelies,

I know you've missed me as much as I've missed you. I had to take a moment away from the blog while I moved into my new place. It has taken its toll on me but while watch Best Food Ever on Netflix I was reminded why I push myself to my limits. It's because I love what I do.
